SD Gives Supports Year End Fundraising Efforts

DakotAbilities is again participating in an annual statewide fundraising effort called South Dakota Gives. Beginning in late October and going through Giving Tuesday on December 3, our Facebook and LinkedIn posts will be filled with stories of our organization and the amazing individuals we support, each post displaying the hashtag #ForSouthDakota and tagging @SouthDakotaGives. Participation not only shows followers how the money raised by DakotAbilities positively impacts the quality of life for adults with disabilities, but our posts also qualify us for prize money from the SD Gives prize pool made possible by individuals, businesses, and foundations interested in spreading generosity across our state through South Dakota Day of Giving. Help us increase our chances of winning prize money by liking and sharing our #ForSouthDakota posts!

A gift to DakotAbilities means the gift of independence and life-changing opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All donations made to DakotAbilities are donor-directed, meaning you can specify how you want your gift to be used, whether it's for Meaningful Day activities, toward capital expenses such as home construction, vehicles, or assistive equipment, or to be invested in an endowment fund for future use. It's important to know that 100% of your gift stays here and goes toward its intended purpose. No part of your gift is used for operational costs, meaning your generosity has an immediate and positive impact on the people supported by DakotAbilities.

Every gift makes a difference, and we appreciate everyone who supports our mission of creating a warm and welcoming community that enriches the lives of adults with disabilities right here in Sioux Falls.
