Young Adults and People With Disabilities - A Winning Combination
Young Adults and People With Disabilities - A Winning Combination
For people with disabilities, spending time with young adults can be a positive and empowering experience. It provides an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and feel included in activities. It brings fresh energy and new perspectives, helping to break down feelings of isolation. It also allows people with disabilities to showcase their abilities, talents, and personalities, fostering mutual respect and understanding. These interactions can lead to meaningful relationships and a stronger sense of belonging in the community. Thank you, USF and Lincoln High School, for your student volunteer groups, and to Dakota for choosing to do your confirmation project here.
