Coffee & Conversation with TSP Architecture, Engineering, and Planning

Each month, we invite business and volunteer groups to Longfellow for Coffee & Conversation with staff and people supported. Hosting coffee and playing games together opens up communication and begins to dissolve inaccurate perceptions about people with disabilities. These gatherings offer a relaxed and informal setting where everyone has fun and makes new acquaintances.

"The TSP team always appreciates the opportunity to visit organizations that make such a positive impact in our communities," said one TSP employee. "I enjoyed learning more about the important services DakotAbilities provides and the chance to meet staff members and people served by the organization."

Another staff member commented, "I enjoyed getting to know some of the people supported and more about DakotAbilities today. I can tell from spending time there that they have fostered a truly positive and inclusive environment."

Jeff Bowar with TSP serves on DakotAbilities' Board of Directors. In 2022, their firm spent time at Longfellow gaining first-hand experience using manual and electric wheelchairs to navigate the building, leaving a lasting impact on how to make buildings more usable for people of all abilities.
